Dante

I’m an aspiring Rocket Engineer and am pursuing my Masters of Science in Astronautical Engineering through USC online. I graduated from UCSB with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering in 2014 and have worked as an engineer for the past five years in a wide range of industries that dealt with everything from infrared cameras to atomic force microscopy.

Math, Physics, and test prep are my specialties. I use these concepts everyday while studying topics such as rocket propulsion and astrodynamics, and had to prep hard to achieve the GRE scores that helped get me into USC’s Astro Engr. program. I scored 5’s on both the AP Calculus and AP Physics tests, and scored in the 95th percentile or higher in all of my SAT areas (Math, Writing, Critical Reading).

I teach for understanding first and foremost, not just execution. Knowing the concepts inside and out is essential to be able to synthesize knowledge when you encounter a new problem you’ve never practiced. It takes more time to really reach that level of understanding, but it will serve you well during test time. Let’s work together in order to launch you toward your academic goals!
