Hi! I’m currently a UC Berkeley student doing my undergraduate studies in Rhetoric, French, and Theater, expected to graduate in Spring 2020. I grew up in a large family and have lots of memories of helping my younger siblings with homework and test prep, so tutoring others has always come naturally to me. Since going to college and taking two years off to live in France, I have spent a lot of time volunteering at elementary schools to mentor students in need and teaching a wide range of people subjects such as English, French, Math, and Music. I love working with people one-on-one and I’m also really patient and a great communicator.
My students are guaranteed my undivided attention in trying to help them succeed and gain more confidence in their abilities to learn and demonstrate mastery of material. I love the arts and spend a lot of my free time reading and watching films. I have come to love writing essays as I’ve gotten better at it and I’m now to the point where I love helping others improve their writing as well. I really value quality relationships between myself and students, as I believe that it is essential in making progress together towards better learning of the material.
