Hi, I am Dr. Kim – when it comes to teaching, it is not only my profession, but also my passion. I look forward to leading your learning pod this semester!
I have worked with students of all backgrounds and have built deep relationships with each one of them. I have taught and developed curriculum for Kinder, 1st, 2nd, and 4th grade. I have also integrated Spanish curriculum for Spanish immersion programs. I understand how hard it can be to be a student and learn things you may not find interesting; been there, done that. I have always tried to make it my goal to make learning fun for my students through stories, games, and engaging activities. I have mastered the teaching methods behind being an effective educator and can tailor my teaching methods to best accommodate every student’s learning needs.
Teaching is my passion and I want to see you succeed. I am extremely well versed in all Mathematics, Science, English based on common core and California state standards. I have all of the experience, certifications, and education necessary to be an effective tutor/pod teacher for elementary students.
