Natalia

Since a very young age, I have always been involved in many activities, whether it was acting, figure skating, swimming, Japanese school, dance, piano, violin, Taekwondo, or Jiu-Jitsu. Today, I find passion in health, science, music, and teaching. I thoroughly enjoy helping others in any way; as early as the fifth grade, I found myself peer-tutoring same-grade students struggling with Mathematics.

Since then, I have worked at extra-curricular academic centers, privately tutored students in both academics and music ranging from ages 4-15, and have serviced myself in university-run programs to tutor and mentor underserved and international students in the LA area.

As a tutor, I believe my passion, honesty, and patience help me connect with my students and tailor my teaching style to each individual. I am well-prepared, but can also think on my feet! I only want to steer my students in a positive direction.

I love to teach Math, the Sciences, and Music. I have also grown a passion for English and Writing while in college. Relevant coursework I took in college include: Biology courses (Evolution & Ecology, Cells & Tissues, Molecular, Genetics), Organic Chemistry, Physics, Biochemistry, Nutrition, English Composition – Interdisciplinary Academic Writing, and Spanish.

My SAT scores were Math: 750, Writing: 770, Critical Reading: 650.
