Noah

I’m a third year student at Cal Poly Pomona studying Chemical Engineering. Since I was young, I’ve been passionate about science and mathematics.

I began tutoring in high school by helping my peers in classes such as Honors Chemistry and AP Calculus. My first and second years of college, I continued to help my peers understand complex material including chemistry, calculus, and calculus-based physics. Many of the students I helped came from different backgrounds and learned at different paces, but I was able to build a strong connection with them and understand the ways they learned best.

In high school, I scored a 1350 on the SAT (Math: 680) and a 30 on the ACT (Math: 30, Science: 32, STEM: 31).

I prefer one-on-one tutoring and enjoy engaging with students to help them conceptualize difficult material. I understand that everyone has a different way of learning. I look forward to working with you to reach your GPA and test score goals!

Hobbies

I like to spend most of my free time outside in the SoCal sun! I like to surf, hike, rock climb, and play volleyball and basketball. As stress-relievers, I like to play the piano and the drums. I also like to play chess and solve puzzles (2D and 3D!). I am a firm believer in working hard, but I always find time to have fun, too!
