Joey
Hi my name is Joey and I am a recent graduate of the University of San Francisco. I studied Media Studies and Latin American studies but I also participated in several tutoring programs. For 3 years I worked with students from local elementary and middle schools in San Francisco in one on one and group tutoring. It was one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life and I am looking forward to working with more students soon. I think the qualities I have that make me a good tutor are my patience and my ability to read students day to day. I believe it is very important to recognize each student’s learning style and how they are feeling on any given day to really get the best out of them. I have experience in many different subjects but my strong suits are writing and history.
