Having recently graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education, and holding a teaching license, I am fully prepared to help my students reach their goals. I have been taught all of the newest teaching techniques and am ready to apply those to whatever concepts my students are working on.

Over the past 5 years I have worked with students ages 4-11. Throughout my college education I had many different types of student teaching experiences ranging from preschool to 4th grade. I have tutored students in all elementary grades. Also, I have set up individualized learning plans for students. My students and I work together to complete the goals set out in the learning plan, to make sure they have a complete understanding of the concepts.

My approach to tutoring and teaching elementary students is to make sure that my students stay engaged. I find that it is important to make learning fun when working with young students. I always loved school and I want my students to feel that same way. When my students come to a tutoring session I want them to enjoy learning and come out of the session feeling proud of themselves for learning something new, or further developing a skill they have been working on.
